Clare Reece-Glore
Clare Reece-Glore was born in a Quonset hut on an Army base in Virginia. After graduating from Guilford College she began working with the NC community college system with community development and adult literacy programs. She began doing staff development training and moved into municipal training. She worked for high tech companies in the Washington, DC area as a training manager and consultant on government contracts. She began working with law enforcement agencies twenty years ago.
Clare did graduate work in adult education at NC State University and holds an MS in Adult Education from NC A & T State University. She also took graduate courses at Marymount University in VA and is working on the nonprofit management certificate at Duke University. Clare is finishing her certification as a Superior Court Mediator in NC. She went through Joe Harless's Human Performance Technology program in its early days and is certified to teach both DDI and AchieveGlobal management courses.
Clare loves travel, reading, good food, dogs and horseback riding. She has a quarter horse gelding and they both love trail riding. Clare and John have a daughter in college.

John has more than 20 years experience as a software engineer and technical trainer. He has developed software for varied applications from telecommunications tools to medical library databases. Working with two other developers, John helped produce a public-library software product that is used in all fifty states and recently passed the $6,000,000 annual sales mark.
He has developed and presented a number of open source courses, including Python programming, Perl Programming, PHP Programming, MySQL, vi editor, and regular expressions.
In the past he has presented introductory UNIX, UNIX system administration, and Unix shell scripting.
As a contract programmer, John has produced dozens of in-house applications, in Perl and C#, which interoperate with Microsoft SQL Server. These applications range from command line utilities to user-friendly GUI tools for non-technical colleagues.
When not writing Python, Perl, and C# programs, John enjoys bicycling, canoeing, and watching class and obscure movies.
